first, camera dies, and im without my baby for 6weeks. then, just as i've managed to take a lot of photos to make up for the time out - and schedule a whole lot more - my computer first dies, then is stolen. i wish them well of it. good news is, i didnt lose too many photos, and i have a shiny new laptop thanks to insurance. bad news is, i'm now waaaay backed up good news is, i'm now working on new business cards, a website, hopefully selling photos - all the projects i've had in the back of my mind i havent managed to action yet. so yeah, hopefully i'll get some of the shots i've taken in the last few months up soon; i'm taking a sort-of

ok! first things first. i have now moved. pretty much. there are still boxes everywhere, but seeing as the new place isnt roughly the size of a shoebox, i can live with that. i now have a space i can devote pretty much exclusively to shooting, which is AWESOME - and part of the reason i still have boxes everywhere, as it's been getting a fair bit of use (from my friend, and me when i steal his camera) the lovely Rob Benson is providing me with a loan camera, so i can shoot the gorgeous Eva Strangelove who i've been wanting to shoot for at least a year and who is finally coming up from wellington, so thats this weekend gone. electronic thi

i am camera-less... my baby is broken :( wierdest error i've ever seen - and of course, it happened halfway through a 6hr photoshoot - it would take one photo, and then freeze up - shutter wouldnt work, lcd would freeze. take the battery out/lens off/change cards, modes, it would take one more photo - then freeze again! gah after an hour online trying hard resets and battery changes & calling canon reps, i resigned myself to it being broken & a lovely friend lent me his camera to finish the shoot. thank god. i was remarkably not freaking, considering it was the biggest shoot i've done in the last ages,and the only one in ages which was p
